6 easy and fun art activities for kids
Keep kids entertained for hours with these art projects

There is no shortage of art activity suggestions for kids on the internet — it is easy to feel overwhelmed by all the choices available. And for kids who may have tried them all, it can be hard to find new activity ideas out there that are fresh and engaging.

But guess what? We have just that!

These six great art creation experiences let kids flex their creative juices in a way that is going to be completely different from what they are used to, without sacrificing any of the fun. These art projects enrich a child’s free time and are a perfect way for kids to pass a lazy Saturday morning or that window of time after school and before dinner.

Added bonus: These art experiences are easy to set up. Even better, they are easy to clean up! You can also use whatever crayons, markers, and paints you have around the house if you don’t have a cupixel art set.

If you want to create with your kids, you can each set up your own device and make art side-by-side, but these are also great activities for kids to do independently, freeing you up to get your own work done.

The list below includes a variety of experience types: Drawing and painting using cupixel’s AR-powered “Smart Trace” technology to help kids trace outlines, freeflow painting, and cutouts. But one thing they all have in common is awesome artist-led experiences that will keep kids engaged and having fun.
